Vernon Place is ideally situated equidistant between Adams Morgan and Kalorama/Dupont Circle. Adams Morgan is home to 19th and early 20th century row houses and apartment buildings infused with modern new construction. The neighborhood is incredibly diverse and known for its array of international shops and restaurants and active nightlife along 18th Street and Columbia Road. The second Sunday of September, the neighborhood hosts the Adams Morgan Day Festival, a multicultural street celebration with live music, food and crafts booths. Weather permitting, every Saturday local growers sell fresh produce, baked goods, cheeses and fresh flowers at the farmers market.

Culturally vibrant, cosmopolitan and always in motion, Kalorama and Dupont Circle are some of DC’s most celebrated neighborhoods. Energized by a thriving restaurant, gallery and retail scene, their charm lures affluent residents, tourists and a discerning daytime workforce. The tree-lined, residential streets of Dupont and Kalorama are punctuated with a variety of architectural styles, each of which contributes to a sophisticated residential image that is unique to Washington. These neighborhoods are a hub for a mix of neighbors including young families, empty nesters, and Washington’s international community.

The best thing about the neighborhood is its accessibility to everything – that includes Dupont Circle to the south, and Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights to the north, as well as Rock Creek Park on the west.
